At Envision Festival 2024 in Costa Rica, I encountered a transformative experience that reshaped my approach to health, fitness, and connection with nature. During a powerful talk by the Bri-Bri tribe, I was reminded that Earth, with its natural abundance, offers us all we need—if we honor its cycles. They spoke of living in tune with the land and respecting its rhythms, sparking a call to realign with these natural forces.
Shortly after, I joined a seminar led by Violetta Anestopoulou, a holistic health expert, who discussed the powerful synergy of fasting with the cycles of the moon, particularly during the full moon. Her insights highlighted how the gravitational pull influences our bodies much like it does the tides. The idea of a Full Moon Fast took root—a monthly ritual combining mental resilience, physical strength, and spiritual grounding, and a path toward restoring balance in our fast-paced world.
